BroadVC EB5 Program Update

Congress created this employment-based fifth preference immigrant visa category (EB-5) to benefit the U.S. economy by providing an incentive for foreign capital investment that creates or preserves U.S. jobs.

Administered through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program was created by Congress in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors.

Under this program investors may also qualify for EB-5 classification by investing through regional centers designated by USCIS based on proposals for promoting economic growth.

The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) makes visas available to qualified immigrant investors who will contribute to the economic growth of the United States by investing in U.S. businesses and creating jobs for U.S. workers.

BroadVC is providing applicants with the following services:

An economic study which describes in detail how jobs will be created and the business's positive impact on the region.

A comprehensive Matter of Ho-compliant EB-5 business plan, which describes how the business will raise and invest EB-5 capital.

An offering memorandum (i.e., PPM).

A brief synopsis of the new venture or business expansion.

A startup or business expansion budget which includes, expenditures such as acquisition costs, legal and professional fees, consultants, marketing, franchise fees, licensure, governmental approvals, working capital, inventory, construction or tenant improvements, and purchases of capital goods.

A timeline with estimated dates (month and year) for the launch of the new venture or the business expansion.
